- Annapoorna MI have been attending classes at Chennai Kalaripayattu for 6 months now. I had no prior experience of fitness or martial arts. My flexibility and stamina have drastically improved since I first started attending classes. Our teacher is very encouraging and always keeps pushing us to do better, giving us personalised help whenever necessary. Mentally also it has benefited me, and it is a great physical outlet as well if one is working in a relatively sedentary job, as the class is situated outdoors amidst a lot of greenery. I highly recommend this anyone regardless of age or fitness level, who is looking to learn an Indian art form. Or is just looking to improve their overall fitness
- dorathe VI decided to learn kalari to stay fit, but it was more than that. Kalari was a huge mental, emotional, and physical learning experience. It has changed my life down to the way I walk. It has also taught me discipline. The first three months were extremely difficult, but Bala sir helped me understand how the exercises work with my body and how to perform them correctly. He understands each individual and strives to get the most out of all students.
VivekThe instructor does a fantastic job of showing and explaining each movement and exercise. Each training session is exciting and the atmosphere feels great. I would definitely recommend Chennai Kalaripayattu to anyone who is looking to learn a traditional martial art form.
